
About Paul Ciolek

Education and Training
Paul Ciolek began playing the violin in the fourth grade. His early private violin teachers included Sharon Holland and Kay Pech-Anshutz, former Music Director of the Cal Poly-Pomona University Chamber Players. He later studied with Jason Uyeyama of La Sierra University.

Paul holds an A.S. degree in Music and Science from Saddleback College, an A.A. degree in General Education from Palomar College, and an A.A. in Music from MiraCosta College, where he studied music theory. He also earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Visual and Performing Arts with a focus in music from California State University San Marcos.

Paul has over 30 years of experience as a freelance violinist. He has performed professionally with many professional orchestras and community orchestras as well as string quartets, string trios, string duos, and numerous other chamber ensemble groups for many decades.
Performance
Paul is currently the first violinist for Strings For Your Heart, a professional string quartet, and regularly performs with the Temecula Valley Symphony. He brings a versatile playing style and years of experience to every performance.

Paul is available to perform at weddings, parties, and private or corporate events. He also offers solo performances and can arrange small ensembles like string quartets and chamber groups for any occasion.

Teaching
In addition to performing, Paul teaches private violin lessons at his home studio in Temecula.
He also teaches at Susan Miyamoto’s Studio in Temecula.
